To what areas of Texas does Aiysha travel?
Aiysha is based in Garland, she is willing to travel within walking distance up to 1hr driving (with tolls). Please be advised that a travel fee is added on every appointment over 10 minutes.
What are Aiysha’s hours?
Tuesdays - Fri 8am - 11pm
Saturday - 8am - 6pm
What will it cost to have me/my child’s hair done?
Click the “book” button for pricing on specific styles. Should the style you desire not be present, inquire via email.
I’m unfamiliar with hair care. Can Aiysha assist me with choosing a style?
Yes. Aiysha is happy to assist with finding the perfect style for you or your child.
Do I need to purchase hair extensions?
You have options. You may choose to purchase extensions, or Aiysha can assist you in purchasing your extensions (There is a fee for this). Requests for assistance purchasing hair must be made in advance.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Aiysha will bring all the tools needed, all you need to do is have a clean area (counter, table, flat surface) where tools can be placed. A higher chair with a low back is preferred when dealing with young clients. A chair with low back at regular height for adults is preferred. Seating near an outlet is preferred for styles needing tools that need to be plugged in.
How do I prepare me/my child’s hair before the appointment?
This depends on the service you have chosen. For example if you have chosen a box braid only service, then hair should be washed and detangled prior to appointment. If you’ve chosen box braids and detangle service then you are only required to have hair cleaned.

How does the 10% discount work
It’s simple! Refer a friend before 7/11/24, when they book you will receive 10% off your next appointment.
*10% will be taken from the cost of the service chosen for single individual. Add on’s, and travel fee not include.

What hair products or tools do I need for my appointment?
Aiysha will provide all tools and products needed. Feel free to purchase products you love as well, Aiysha will gladly use them.
Can I put oils in my hair before the appointment?
Yes, moisturize you/your child’s hair, but not in excess.
I would prefer to perform some parts of me/my child’s hair care myself (rinse/wash/dry/trim/color/deep condition) can Aiysha wait?
Yes, Aiysha can wait. There is a $15 an hour fee added. How do I maintain braids and keep them looking fresh?
Cover hair at night with a silk or satin scarf
How do I moisturize with braids in?
Fill a spray bottle with water, add a bit of leave in conditioner and essential oils if you please, shake well and spritz hair in the morning and before bed.
Does Aiysha style adult hair?
Yes. Both children and adults can receive styling services.
I can’t find the right color extensions, can Aiysha blend and mix colors for me?
Yes! There is a fee for blending.
Should I create an account?
Yes. An account will help you keep track of your appointments. You can store credit information, and make paying for your appointment a breeze.
How is Aiysha keeping her clients and herself safe?
Tools are sanitized before and after every appointment.
She will wash and sanitize her hands before every appointment.
A mask/face shield will be worn at the client’s request
Is there a travel fee?
Yes. An additional fee of $10 - $20 is added for travel beyond 10 mins of travel.
How do I know which travel fee option to choose?
Place A. Lakeath headquarter address (5435 N Garland ave, Garland TX 75040) in your gps, routing to the address of the appointment. Destinations under 10 minutes are free. Destinations 11 - 40 minutes $10. Destinations 40 - 60 minutes $20.
What does the travel fee cover?
Travel fees cover tolls, and mileage one way to or from client’s home.

Payment methods
An invoice will be sent to you at the end of your appointment. You may choose to settle your bill with cash or the Zelle platform.

* ATTENTION: appointments not paid for within two hours of end of appointment will be charged a “late payment fee”.

Payment is due immediately upon the completion of your services and once invoice is received.
Are there late payment fees?
Yes, there are late fees.
Late payment begins 2 hrs after payment link has been sent. The fees are as follows.
Late payment fee 2hrs after appointment- $20
Late payment fee 1 day after appointment- $20
Late payment fee 2 day after appointment- $20
Late payment fee 3 day after appointment- $20
Late payment fee 4 day after appointment- $20
Late payment fee 5 day after appointment- $30
Late payment fee 6 day after appointment- $30
Late payment fee 7 day after appointment- $50
*Accounts with past due balances of 7 days or more will be banned from the site and unable to make bookings. Full payment will be required upfront, or services will be refused altogether. By booking with A.Lakeath you are agreeing to this policy.
