About

Aiysha was born and raised on the beautiful island of Jamaica. She migrated to the states to live with her mother and sister in the big apple (NYC). Mid pandemic, Aiysha was lead by God to Texas, which she now calls her “promised land”.

Aiysha is lighthearted, and full of joy. You may catch her doing a little dance when no music can be heard, or more commonly laughing her hearty laugh that fills any room she enters. Aiysha is a lover of Jesus, and she uses her gift of singing to minister weekly at her local church. When she is not singing dancing or laughing, you will find her traveling to the homes of families across the DFW area as a traveling braider and hair-stylist to foster/adopted/ bio-children and adult women. Aiysha knows how to keep herself busy!

YOUR HAIR, YOUR WAY.

Aiysha is an intuitive braider/hairstylist with decades worth of experience. At an early age she took an interest in hair, and a fire was ignited within her. She has been smitten with the endless possibilities of hair ever since.

In her early twenties, Aiysha was diagnosed with alopecia areata. The alopecia diagnosis fueled her passion for creating styles that would protect, and maintain the health of her hair. She spent years practicing, failing, and learning before deciding to use her passion for hair to assist women and children with and without Alopecia.

Aiysha’s love for hair has expanded over the years, as the hair industry has evolved. Her favorite styles span from box braids, to cornrows, to weaves and custom lace wigs. Her adversity led to her passion, which now helps women and children feel more confident and beautiful.

“I am not defined by my hair! My hair is an artistic form of self-expression. If you want to know how I’m feeling, just take a look at my hair” - Aiysha

It’s your hair, have it your way.
